“I was literally sick and tired. The garden saved my life.”

RYAN DUNCAN, FOUNDER

SCROLL DOWN

Like so many before him, Ryan Duncan ate what he wanted, drank what he wanted, and ultimately incurred the return-on-investment of those unhealthy behaviors.

By age 32, stage-2 hypertension and acid reflux medication had become his norm, at which point he realized “there had to be a better way.” This health confrontation was his catalyst for discovering ‘food as medicine’. He took matters into his own backyard and began farming through aquaponics and other organic green projects.

Months later with a completely new lifestyle, Ryan began to see authentic change both inside and out. 20 pounds of weight lost, energy levels higher than ever, and improved skin all point to an obvious truth — medicine can be grown.

JUBILEE ORGANICS

Planting a future.

What do you do when your back yard isn’t quite big enough for an organic farm? According to our founder, you get a bigger back yard.

Today, Jubilee Organics is a biodiverse 12-acre footprint located in sunny Palma Sola, Florida.

With soil enrichment as our primary focus, we utilize a permaculture strategy for high-density food production supported by over 20,000 plants in the ground.

Building Soil

We grow our food the same way nature does.

Ironically, nature doesn’t utilize herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers, which kill soil life. Instead, it promotes life through a natural cycle of germination, growth, maturation, death, repeat. At Jubilee, we attempt to replicate the most abundant garden on earth — the forest.

To do this, we cultivate multiple layers of soil starting with the organic layer on the surface coupled with mineral matter and humus, then top soil, subsoil and bedrock. By increasing the amount of organic matter, decomposition speed, fungus, bacteria, and beneficial insects, we let the dirt do its work to produce the healthiest food possible.
